The Karovas Milkshake - FreakOut Factory (2012)

Hej-hej!

Прерываю молчание и временно объявляю бложик открытым для того, чтобы опубликовать пост про самую психоделическую российскую группу из ныне существующих.

На современной российской 60s сцене встретить труъ психоделическую, группу, не то что бы сложно, а практически нереально. Сплошной гараж, бит и, каким-то боком примазавшийся к теме, пост-панк. Те же, кто самовольно обзывается психоделией, играют в лучшем случае сайк по флойдовской версии, не каноничной для меня (и можете закидать меня говном), в худшем — мутную экспериментальщину.

Услышать среди всего этого безобразия мягкий органчик, классические гитарные паттерны в куплете, аккуратный вокализ в проигрышах, а главное второй голос, попадающий в интервал — просто как бальзам на рану. Особенно радуют аранжировки, явно продуманные, а не высосанные, по обыкновению, из пальца Ская Сэксона.

Tea and Symphony - An Asylum For The Musically Insane (1969)

Дублирую свой давний пост в жж. Думаю с завтрашнего дня буду постить более активно.

Вашему вниманию предлагается прогрессив-фолк-псих-арт бэнд из бирмингема Tea and Symphony с первым альбомом An Asylum For The Musically Insane и с самым лучшим на мой взгляд треком на альбоме "Terror In My Soul"

Сумасшедшая музыка с нереальным драйвом. Кто бы мог подумать что такое возможно сыграть на аккустической гитаре. Вокалист(он кстати и актёр театра по совместительству) поёт очень драматично, до мурашек по коже. Инструментарий кстати не ограничивается аккустическими гитарами не подумайте чего :) весь джентельменский набор присутствует и даже оркестровки, но звук тем не менее сырой, кустарный.

Рекомендую.

Often placed in the acid psych bin but although in places the album does sound in that catergory it is progressive as well. A lot of acoustic guitar is used throughout these tunes with a mixture of keyboards. Eccentric could be used to describe the style of this album.
Armchair Theatre is the 1st track on this album and could be described best as something that seems to be from the 1930's in places with a blues vaudeville sound which takes a more modern approach to the end of the tune with a Kazzo used in places.Feel How Cool the Wind is the 2nd tune with a slow dreamy feel and with what sounds like wind in the background primarily over acoustic guitar with keyboards . Why I am listing tracks in order because there is a far amount of variation and styles used throughout as with the next song Sometime is another Acid folk tune and shows the vocals employed throughout with which were sung with different band members at the same time in unison or used as an echo effect with the backing vocals. Track 4 Maybe My Mind( With Egg) has the strangest title and is very acid in texture. Blues influence is present on this album with folk as with the following track The Come On. The last track 9 would be considered Avante Garde for me and the song leads in with a flute intro and a Keyboard sounding like a Harpsichord, the tune at the start and end remind me of Peter Hammil but that is about as far as it goes and the tune quickly goes to a keyboard ( piano) solo and then the Avante Garde seems to appear.

All in all a very interesting listen that takes time to appreciate but the reward is there with a bit of peserverance. I will admit with my first listen of this album the response was Ehhhhh but give it another go and enjoy what really is something you will not hear anywhere else. Original and different and that most likely is the reason this album did not sell well back then. Great cover as well.

Blond - The Lilac Years (1969)

Группа Блонд основана на обломках знаменитых Tages. Ребята потяжелели и утратили значительную часть той хитовой мелодичности, которая составляла основу их узнаваемого стиля. Но качество по прежнему на уровне, да и парочка другая песен все же вполне тянет на хитовость - та же The Lilac Years например.

All over the net you can find the words of Richie Unterberger stating that Blond's album The Lilac Years (1969) is 'a respectable though unexceptional effort with echoes of the Hollies, the Beatles, the Easybeats, and the like.' I don't know what motivated Unterberger to depreciate the album this way - The Lilac Years may not contain a single track that had the potential to be a huge hit single such as those regularly produced by the Beatles and the Hollies, but it is nonetheless an outstanding piece of work that ranks among the very best pop/rock albums produced in the '60s.

While it probably wouldn't outrank the Beatles' albums for most listeners, it's certainly better than any album by either the Hollies or the Easybeats - neither of whom were capable of producing a real album. In addition to containing excellent songs, The Lilac Years contains some of the best production, including drum and bass sounds, and some of the best vocal performances of the time. It's a five-star outing that should be at the top of your list if you're looking into the '60s beyond the big names like the Beatles and the Beach Boys.

I have one criticism only - on the second track, Deep Inside My Heart, singer Göran Lagerberg has to strain a little to reach the higher notes. In my opinion, it wasn't wise to put the least successful performance second on the album!

Art of lovin - Same (1968)

Чрезвычайно удачный клон Jefferson Airplane. Группа изначально вторична, что не мешает ей быть качественным музыкальным проектом. Вокалистка один в один копирует манеру пения Grace Slick, и надо сказать достигает не малых успехов в этом нелегком деле. Стилистически это тот же Джефферсон Эйрплэйн, опять же с поправкой на вторичность. Что еще сказать.. Слушайте.

A Massachussefts outfit whose album is full of interesting and quite imaginative pop/folk-rock, obscure enough to have been reissued. Apart from a cover of Tim Hardin's Hang On To A Dream, all the songs were penned by Paul Applebaum. It's certainly worth hearing.

Everly Brothers - The Everly Brothers Sing (1967)

Everly Brothers исполняют психоделию. Неожиданно, да? Послушал этот альбом опять-таки по рекомендации Патрика Кемпбелла, данной в его книге Psychedelic Days. Один из любимейших моих альбомов. На этой пластинке Братья Эверли исполняют песню I'm Finding It Rough, написанную Патриком специально для них. I'm Finding It Rough совершенно замечательная и, неожиданно, прото-панковская вещь, если не брать в расчет вокализы и, характерную для братьев, слащавую манеру исполнения.

Рекомендую.

Behind one of the drabbest album covers (and album titles) of 1967 lies a little psych-pop gem. Most people go running for the hills when they spot this album and really who could blame them? Can the casual record buyer justify purchasing an Everly Brothers album with a 5-minute rendition of "Whiter Shade of Pale" on it? How about a song called "Talking to the Flowers", conjuring up mental images of Phil Everly wearing a kaftan sitting cross-legged on the floor fumbling through sitar fingerings. Approach this album with an open mind, however, and you will find a delightful example of what US psych should be.

The beauty of the first side is that it sounds sophisticated and intricately produced without sounding particularly psychedelic. Album opener and modest hit "Bowling Green" is in the same melodic, psych-informed, country-inflected pop territory as the Beau Brummels' "Triangle". Everly original "I Don't Want to Love You" is a wonderful pop moment, with Phil's (or Don's, I can't tell which is which) ever-so-slightly-raga vocal wail leading from the second chorus into the darker bridge reminding the listener that yes, this is 1967. "Talking to the Flowers" may be the most well-known track here to UK psych collectors who would be familiar with the Rick Price cover. I prefer the original for its unbeatable harmonies and its oddly sincere lead vocal. So ends the first side. 'A little flower pop-ish, not too over-the-top', you think to yourself.

Then comes Side 2 opener and psychedelic monster "Mary Jane", also known as "how many overdubs can we smash into one song?". One would assume the Everlys singing a song with obviously-forced drug imagery would buy them a one-way ticket to Squaresville but this thing is blistering. Fuzz abounds, possibly courtesy of Glen Campbell (how are his session appearances so good and his solo work so...Jimmy Webb-ified??) while hyperactive congas are trying very hard to sound like tablas. The only thing that betrays this track from being considered almost a lost UK psych single is the occasional vocal twang that places this firmly back in the States. This is followed by "I'm Finding it Rough" a cover of a B-side from beyond obscure UK freakbeat band Hat & Tie (pre-Nirvana, of "Simon Simopath" fame and Cobain-fan ire). How on Earth the Everlys first heard this track is beyond me. Someone in their entourage was obviously hipper than hip, and it sure as hell wasn't Glen Campbell. A brilliant collision of jubilant vocals, overdubbed harmonies flitting about, modulated tom-toms, and an incessant fuzz figure doubled by woodwinds. This track sounds like power-pop went back in time and paid tribute to itself before it even existed (did I just describe the plot to 1989-1993 TV show "Quantum Leap"?).

The album ends with much-maligned covers of "A Whiter Shade of Pale" and "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy", which sounds very incongruous on paper, i.e. these 2 songs share space on the same album!? I actually think both covers are quite good, though unnecessary given the brilliance of the originals that come before. Arrangements are by Gene Page, Al Capps, and Billy Strange, which is an odd but consequently magical grouping.

Yes, pre-Beatles pop stars were capable of making solid psychedelia, though it's probably a good thing that Neil Sedaka never tried.

Apple - An Apple a Day (1969)

Английский психодел. Apple - это еще одна сайкоделик/сайк-поп команда в ряду тех, что записали один альбом и, не получив должной отдачи, распались, а группа очень хорошая. Как же много их было, подобных команд, а сейчас с трудом отыскиваешь что-то более менее слушабельное, как среди популярных и не очень коллективов, так и среди андерграундной сцены. Я вот думаю не завести ли отдельный блог куда я мог бы выкладывать те современные группы, которые более-менее пришлись мне по душе. Их на самом деле не так много.

Apple were a British psychedelic rock band. The band was founded in Cardiff in 1968 by Rob Ingram on guitar and Jeff Harrad on bass. They released a single LP in 1969, titled An Apple a Day. The album was a commercial failure, and the band ceased to exist shortly after its release. However, during the subsequent years several tracks from the LP, most notably "The Otherside" by Harrad, were dubbed classics of British psychedelic rock by critics, making An Apple a Day one of the most sought-after British psychedelic rarities.
The original vinyl version (released by Page One Records) is now extremely hard to find. A reissue by Repertoire Records was released in 1994, which included several bonus songs (those being early mono versions of some of the album's tracks).

Federal Duck - Federal Duck (1968)

Шикарнейший меланхоличный сайк-поп от нью-йоркской группы Federal Duck. Очень советую всем любителям психоделии. Этот альбом частенько стоял у меня на репите.

The album, which was recorded in New York, is not greatly acclaimed although there are some good tracks including the mellow psychedelia of Tomorrow Waits For Today and Peace In My Mind. The outstanding track, however, is Bird with strong out-there vocals and a jazzy piano solo.

In 1969, George Stavis and Timmy Ackerman recorded an album for Vanguard. In 1970 Stavis, Ackerman, Stern and Bowers formed a new band Oganookie in Santa Cruz, California with Bruce Frye. Oganookie released a great country psych album in 1973, and about half the members backed up Bruce Frye in 1974 on a local Santa Cruz compilation album.(Vernon Joynson/Dave Monahan)

Status Quo - Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo (1968)

Слушаю стянутую ночью свежую запись Status Quo - Quid Pro Quo + лайв 2010 и хочу сказать что "не смотря на" даже и сегодня они звучат лучше многих. Просто такая музыка не вставляет меня. Даже и первый их культовый альбом, во всех отношениях замечательный артефакт психоделической эпохи, никогда не цеплял меня по настоящему. Пластинка заканчивается и я тут же забываю все песни. Ну понятное дело что "грин тамбурин"-то я помню, но в целом в их музыке чего-то такого не хватает, лично для меня. Но если вы еще не слышали Picturesque Matchstickable Messages, то вам определенно необходимо восполнить данный пробел.

Picturesque Matchstickable Messages from the Status Quo is the 1968 debut album by the British psychedelic rock group, Status Quo. The album features a large number of covers, including "Green Tambourine" by The Lemon Pipers.
The album's lead single was originally intended to be "Gentleman Joe's Sidewalk Café", with the original Francis Rossi composition "Pictures of Matchstick Men" as the b-side, but these songs were eventually swapped round. It reached #7 in the UK, and remains the band's only major hit single in the United States where it reached #12. It also reached #8 in Canada. A second single, Rossi's "Black Veils of Melancholy" (with organist Roy Lynes' non-album track "To Be Free" as the b-side), flopped and has even been called "a carbon copy of "Pictures of Matchstick Men"". The third single, "Ice in the Sun", was written for the band by Marty Wilde and Ronnie Scott (not the jazz musician), with the Rossi/Parfitt composition "When My Mind Is Not Live" as the b-side. It reached #8 in the UK Singles Chart, and #29 in Canada.
The album itself was released on 27 September 1968, and reached #12 in the UK album charts. The band planned to release a fourth single from the album - "Technicolour Dreams" backed with the Wilde/Scott composition "Paradise Flat" - but this was withdrawn after a few days in favour of a non-album single release early the following year. The new single, Rossi and Parfitt's "Make Me Stay a Bit Longer", with bassist Alan Lancaster's "Auntie Nellie" as the b-side, was released in 31st January 1969. As well as getting the "thumbs up" from a majority of the record reviewers, this single was also something of a landmark for the group, as it would be their final release to credit them as "the" Status Quo.

Думаю уже по обложке можно догадаться, какого рода музыка включена в компиляшку. Цветочные горшки нам "как бы намекают" что это сайк-поповая сборка. Однако не тут-то было. Группы-то оказывается совершенно разные (от фолка до гаража) и сайк-поповых из них ровным счетом ни одной. Вот и доверяй после этого людям. Того и гляди наткнешься на сайк-поп под обложкой с хайрастыми, брутальными гитаристами на фоне адских сполохов..

Оригинальная сборка была издана в 1967 году, в надежде поднять денежку на волне ,набирающего высоту, движения хиппи и тем самым поправить свое материальное положение, подорванное изданием нерентабельных сольных пластинок групп. Результатом такой сугубо меркантильной затеи стала элпишка, дающая одну из наиболее точных картин музыкальной сцены тех времен.

With Love - A Pot Of Flowers was originally issued in 1967 by Mainstream Records ostensibly to cash-in upon the growing fascination with San Francisco. In 1966, label boss Bob Shad had issued several unsuccessful singles by Bay Area groups, and by collecting them together on LP he unwittingly created one of the more satisfying surveys of the scene at the time.
The groups included on A Pot Of Flowers were the Wildflower, pioneering folk-rockers who were an early fixture at the Fillmore and Avalon; San Jose's popular garage band the Otherside; legendary East Bay punks the Harbinger Complex; and, from southern California, the idiosyncratic Euphoria, whose off-beat take on psychedelia has given the group a cult reputation.

Обещанный дебютник Os Mutantes. Качать и слушать в обязательном порядке. Писали о них довольно много а потому повторяться не буду - при желании найдете информацию, скажу только что бразильцы всегда меня радовали в том числе и своими мыльными операми :) и однажды я выкрою время для того что бы досконально изучить их музыкальную культуру.

Os Mutantes is the debut album by the Brazilian rock band Os Mutantes. It was originally released in 1968 and influenced by traditional Brazilian music styles, as well as American and British bands. The disc includes many hits, such as "Panis et circenses", "Baby" and "Ave, Gengis Khan".[1]
The album was successful around the world, being considered one of the 50 most experimental albums in history[citation needed]. It appears at number 9 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of 100 greatest Brazilian albums of all time.[2]
The musical instruments of Os Mutantes, as the Golden Guitar (Guitarra de Ouro) and special sound effects and pedals, as the sewing machine motor effect in the song "Bat Macumba" were all created by Cláudio César Dias Baptista - CCDB, the elder brother of Arnaldo and Sérgio. With Raphael Vilardi, Cláudio founded the musical group "The Thunders", first of all groups which resulted in Os Mutantes. The Golden Guitar (Guitarra de Ouro) can be heard in the "Os Mutantes" album and in many other albums of the same group. Today Cláudio is best known as a writer, author of the opus Géa and several other books.

Crystal Circus - In Relation To Our Times (1968)

Ликуйте любители правильной психоделии! Такого вы довно не слышали! Ну может быть кто-то и слышал уже, но однозначно альбом сей не широко известен, а должен быть! Сидишь вот так долгие месяцы и слушаешь в общем-то неплохую музыку, но по настоящему хорошего настолько мало что такие альбомы затираются буквально до дыр и, хочешь не хочешь,а немножко надоедают.

Так вот если вам надоело уже крутить изо дня в день пластинку Strawberry Alarm Clock, то вашим мучениям пришел конец. Встречайте Crystal Circus! Кто они такие и какое отношение имеют к Strawberry Alarm Clock? Значит дело было так...

В 1968 году, группа, называвшая себя Strawberry SAC, под руководством Грега Манфорда (Greg Munford)(лид.вокал на Incense and Peppermints) записала на студии All-American 12 треков для запланированного альбома. Две песни ("In Relation" и "Merry Go Round") были выпущены в том же году, оставшиеся же 10 были изданы только в 2001(!) году на виниле под именем Crystal Circus с названием А-сайда той самой первой сорокапятки т.е. In Relation To Our Times.

Грег Манфорд никогда не был членом Strawberry Alarm Clock, но так случилось что он исполнил главную вокальную партию в песне, которая, по воле судьбы, и совершенно неожиданно для группы, стала хитом и самым большим их успехом. Менеджер группы Билл Холмс, воспользовался моментом, и перекинул Грега Манфорда в новую группу, бесстыдно скопировавшую "Strawberry SAC".

Некоторые источники говорят о том что состав у групп был один и тот же , но это не так: только Грег Манфорд может подпадать под данное утверждение да и то технически он не всегда был в Strawberry SAC.

Согласно, весьма мистифицирующей, надписи на обложке пластинки 2001 года членами Strawberry SAC (т.е. Crystal Circus) были:

Greg Munford - вокал, клавишные
Gary Solomon (a.k.a. Gary Solo) - вокал, саксофон, флейта, кларнет
Bob Feldman - вокал
Jack Bielan - клавишные
Nick Dunman - ?
Kaufman - ?

Ибо в коментах, датированных Dec 31, 1969(!)(60's never end!), появляются (о чудо!) главные виновники этого поста и рассказывают много интересных вещей о создании альбома и о тяжкой доле музыканта. В частности о том что не получили ни копейки - ни за переиздание, ни за продажи на амазоне. А потому расшаривайте музыку товарищи! Не будем отдавать последние кровные бездушным виртуальным торгашам!

In 1968, a band calling itself Strawberry SAC, featuring Greg Munford (who'd sung lead on Strawberry Alarm Clock's "Incense And Peppermints") recorded twelve songs for a planned album on All-American. Two songs ("In Relation" and "Merry Go Round") were pressed onto a rare promo DJ 7", but the rest of the recordings were only released in 2001, on a vinyl LP from Akarma credited to Crystal Circus and titled after the a-side of that promo 45, In Relation To Our Times.

Chrysalis - Definition (1968)

Давно уже заслушал до дыр эту пластинку. Совершенно ни на что не похожие мелодии, очень своеобразный и замысловатый стиль у группы. Сайк-фолк с джазовыми вкраплениями. Группа и Нью-Йорка? распалась после записи первой пластинки, а жаль.. Далее будет серия постов посвященных одному автору.

A New York band who recorded just one album. All the tracks were composed by group leader Barbour, who came originally from Canton, Ohio. Musically their album is soft, intricate psych with a few more intense tracks also included. Most notable is Dr. Roots Garden, which has an early "Floydish" feel to it, whilst the album as a whole has a very strange sound that is exceptionally unique with beautiful clear female vocals.

It is thought that mono copies of the album were DJ only. Price guides tend to list these as worth less than stereo copies but in fact they are 20 times harder to locate!

Barbour had at least one of his later songs recorded by Martha Velez. Dahaud Elias Shaar went on to play drums with Van Morrison first appearing on his His Band And The Street Choir album. He is also the drummer on the live It's Too Late To Stop Now and Veedon Fleece releases. Paul Album also played with Fear Itself.

The Jacks - Vacant World (1968) + Super Session (1969)+bonus

The Jacks - японская психоделическа группа, изначально существовавшая как фолк-трио Nightingale. После того как в их состав вошел драмер Takasuke Kida, группа вместе с названием сменила и музыкальное направление. Их альбом "Vacant World" 1968 года входит в сотню лучших японских пластинок. Одноименная песня с пластинки была запрещена на японских радиостанциях. Сама группа распалась незадолго до выхода второго студийного альбома.

Музыка The Jacks - это сплав из атмосфернй психоделии, серфа, фолка и джаза. У группы темный, самосозерцательный саунд с эксперементальными вкраплениями иногда уходящими в меланхоличные инструментальные соло. Лид. вокалист Yoshio Hayakawa поет на родном языке, с типичными для японского вокала переходами от низкого медиативного напева к надрывным, отчаянным воплям. И как бы дублирует вокальную партию ударник, переходя от тонкого джазового заполнения фона к сложным, оригинальным ритмам и безумным истязаниям железа.The Jacks используют обычный для 60's набор эффектов(реверб, тремоло, легкий фаз) и инструментов(обычная пачка из гитар и ритмсекции плюс виброфон и флейта на которых играл драмер).

V.A.- Where The Action Is! Los Angeles Nuggets 1965-1968

Компиляшка от, широкоизвестного любителям шестидесятины, лейбла Рино(Rhino). 100 песен, и еще одна, из славного города Лос-Анджелеса расфасованы по четырем дискам по такому принципу: 1)Популярные всем известные банды выступавшие в самых крутых клубах города ангелов. 2)Банды чуть менее известные из северных и восточных окраин города. 3)Включает в себя студийные проекты. 4)Кантри, фолк, псих-фолк и всяческие маргиналии зараждающейся психоделической эры.

В целом все четрыре диска содержат довольно таки популярный материал, по крайней мере я для себя глобальных открытий не сделал.. но всё ж встречаются и малоизвестные имена. Оценивать бок сет не буду.. смотрите сами, читайте названия команд.. я думаю они говорят сами за себя :)

Да кстати я решил перейти на шариби потому что рапида внатуре беса гонит, но всё ж в дальнейшем наверное буду дублировать ещё и рапидными ссылками во избежание удаления архивов. Кроме того с нынешнего поста буду давать несколько строк на английском из официальных пресс-релизов для гаражнопсиходеличных товарищей из цивилизованных стран, не понимающих нашего варварского языка.

WHERE THE ACTION IS! encompasses four discs arranged thematically to cover different aspects of the pop, rock, club and Top 40 sounds of the era. The first covers some of the most notable bands that performed in the clubs of Hollywood's Sunset Strip. Disc two features a sampling of the musicians who began life in South L.A., East L.A. and such far-flung suburbs as Riverside and Bakersfield. The third delves into the artistry of L.A.'s producers, arrangers and Wrecking Crew of studio players. The final disc takes us from the nascent seeds of folk rock to the first blooms of canyon rock, country rock and full-blown psychedelia in the region. Loving Dark's - Complicado (1968) [Bolivia]

Сегодня в нашем блоге замечательный латинский психо-гараж - пионеры боливийского рока Loving Dark's. Пластинка содержит две кавер-версии песен Rolling Stones: "Comlicated" ("Complicado") и "Fortune Teller" ("El Adivino"), две другие песни написаны самими Loving Dark's, но и в них чувствуется сильное влияние Rolling Stones.

Калифорния, "Лето любви", Strawberry Alarm Clock. 

Первая пластинка SAC (изначально группа называлась Thee Sixpence) была записана в 1966 году и включала в себя их сингл "You're the One", а также несколько кавер-песен: "Hеy, Joe", "I Can't Explain" (The Who) и рокенрольный стандарт "Fortune Teller". 

В 1967 вышел уже полноценный альбом "Incense and Peppermints".

Звучание SAC представляет собой сочетание гаража, возможно, бита и частично, я бы сказал, фолка. Словом, здесь можно услышать как и медленные солнечные песни ("Strawberries Mean Love"), так и взрывные драйвовые фаз-гитарные пунши ("Paxton's Backstreet Carnival").

Wake Up... It's Tomorrow (1968)

Второй альбом, разумеется, повторяет все свойства первого, но, к сожалению, это уже не первый (простите за тавтологию). По звучанию и общему настроению очень похож на the Chocolate Watchband, тем не менее, весьма интересен, чего не скажешь о следующих.

Arthur Brown / Vincent Crane - "Faster Than The Speed of Light" (1980)

Потрясающая работа Артура Брауна и Винсента Крейна, который играл на органе Хаммонда на дебютном альбоме Брауна "The Crazy World of Arthur Brown" в 1967 году. С позволения сказать, диско начала 80-х, но с ярким привкусом психоделии 60-х. Звучание на альбоме мелодичное и ритмичное, в следствие чего слушается легко. 

Крайне рекомендуется к прослушиванию.

Speak No Tech (1982)

"Speak No Tech" и следующий альбом совсем не вписываются в тематику нашего блога, однако, я думаю, что стоит их запостить в силу их редкости и... это же всё таки Артур Браун! 

Что касается именно этого альбома, то я бы охарактеризовал его как синдром работы с Клаусом Шульце (Klaus Schulze) в 1979 году. Звучание на альбоме - несколько монотонная электронщина, с выразительным Браунским вокалом. О альбоме нельзя сказать скучный он или весёлый, хороший или плохой, так как он - никакой. Интерес этого альбома заключается лишь в некоторых моментах и в бонус треках.

Данный диск - переиздание 2001 года, включающее в себя записи 1965 года ("You Don't Know"), а также записи 1987-1990 годов. 

Рекомендуется к прослушиванию поклонникам творчества Артура Брауна.

Requiem (1982)

"Requiem" - это чистой воды индастриал. Песни можно сравнить с Einstürzende Neubauten, Skinny Puppy, даже Marilyn Manson, а также чувствуются нотки с пинкфлойдовского "The Wall". Альбом слушается весьма тяжело, однако, по моему мнению - весьма интересен. 

Рекомендуется для поклонников творчества Артура Брауна, а также для любителей индастриала.
